Hi, I’m Cheryl, and in 2012 I started working as a Community Relations Director at a senior living memory care community in Portage. The most important part of my job was understanding the needs and desires of families to ensure their loved ones transitioned smoothly to our community.
Over the years, I’ve had countless conversations with families, witnessing firsthand the emotional challenges of caring for aging parents or a spouse. In 2022 I realized my true calling was to help families navigating these difficult decisions, regardless of their financial situation or any affiliation with the community I worked for at the time.
That’s why I started Senior Living Family Advocate: to ease your mind, answer your questions, and save you valuable time and energy.
I am dedicated to helping others through my work. With extensive dementia training and a willingness to make house calls, I bring compassion and expertise to every family I assist. While I miss the daily interactions with residents from my previous role, my commitment to finding the best care options for you and your loved ones remains unwavering. I’m here to help.
